Shafaq News/ To shed light on the problem of Faily Kurds rights , and to reach to an understanding of the rights of the  Faily Kurds rights , and find out the reasons behind the delay in the implementation of the decisions concerning them, we met the former Minister of Displacement and Migration during the years 2004 - 2005 Pascal Wardah, who also touched the suffering of minorities and members of religions in Iraq , including Christians.

In our question about an important file for Faily Kurds segment, what was completed and what was not done yet and why?

She replied, "by virtue of being a minister in the 2004 - 2005 the priority for the ministry was to lift the injustice for the returnees, especially our young men and women, of the sons of Faily Kurds, who were mostly returning from Iran and other countries, and they face enormous problems, with respect to re-nationality Iraqi documents of which belonged to them because they were of subordination and forcibly expelled from their country. "

"I by the powers granted made a great effort with the Ministry of the Interior, because their problem was firstly with the Ministry of the Interior, and I  have put forward their question in the cabinet."

She added, "I think there is a response by the Ministry of the Interior, but it is limping because of its instructions, and I think that there are senior staff in the ministry who have the same ideas and I spoke more than once with a group of managers whom I do not remember their names now."

About this paradox she replied "at a conference in Amman, I met the director of identity and I said to him: By what right things like that happen, and we have canceled all the decisions of the Revolutionary Command Council? He replied, we are waiting for new decisions to be issued , since this decision has been canceled, we will quickly give the identity, and I said to him: as for the instructions you are to  issue the instructions and instructions are subject to you and this thing is called procrastination, and procrastination should not be done against the rights of citizens such as Faily Kurds, who are the most oppressive group. "

And we asked her about the stall, and her being at the center of the decision, and whether delay was deliberate? Many of the Kurds Faily to this moment assert the existence of people with Ba'athist thinking  who impede the decisions in the state?

She said: "Surely this thing is clear and you can see it in all channels of the state more than ever, there are those who were formerly out of the country, and returned again and took high positions and are playing on more than one group. And I insisted that the answer to the request sent to the prime minister to be issued in the form of a book to restore the rights of our children from Faily Kurds. "

She added: "According to my knowledge that he directed a letter to the Interior Ministry, and I consulted personally with the Minister of the Interior at the time, Falah al-Naqib, who was present physically, but always there are instructions and formulas and a set of arguments which are made legally  persuasive."

She explained  "There is confusion in the administration, and, unfortunately, there is no higher follow-up for the real points to stop these acts, which are the basis for the corruption, I wish that there will be experts have their heart on the country when they enact a law or proposal for humans not for revenge, you know that revenge mentality against the people is  a destructive way   .

With regard to the file of minorities and Christians in particular, we asked her about how to evaluate their status now?

She said: "Frankly, the situation of Christians is not good and is very difficult, because the migration and forced displacement are affecting them  significantly, to the extent that Baghdad currently has half of the Christian population  where others , migrated to other areas of Iraq such as Kurdistan or outside Iraq, and before the change, there were about a million and a half million Christian, but now they are  numbering between five hundred to eight hundred thousand Christians, and this thing is a disaster for the country because it weaken the morale of the present in the country, and weakens the significance of their presence, and the importance of their rights and how to get the political rights and other civilian if the number decreased and it hurts in Iraq in general ".

We asked her: Did this affect the view of the world toward Iraq?

She said: "It certainly will affect the view of the States, today is the day of minorities and ethnic groups and not on uniforms and single idea."
