Shafaq News / The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hala Zawati announced on Wednesday, that the quantities imported from Iraqi oil amounted to about 310,000 barrels last March, at an average of 10,000 barrels per day.

Zawati said in a press statement today that since the beginning of the unloading of Iraqi crude oil at the refinery / Zarqa site, on the 5th of September 2019 until the end of March 2020, the Jordanian Petroleum Refinery received a total of 2.1 million barrels, at a daily rate of about 10,000 barrels.

1195 Iraqi and Jordanian tanks shared during March the transfer of quantities of imported Iraqi crude oil according to the Memorandum of Understanding to supply crude oil signed between the governments of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq on the second of February 2019.

Zawati said that the process of transferring Iraqi oil is currently taking place according to the data imposed by Corona virus, by unloading Iraqi tanks in Jordanian tanks in the border region between the country.
