Earlier in the day, the Security Media Cell announced that a Katyusha missile had fallen on a residential complex in the Green Zone.

A statement by the cell stated that “a Katyusha missile fell inside the Green Zone, specifically on residential building No. 31 in the Qadisiyah residential complex.”

He added that the bombing did not result in any damage or losses, and the rocket launched from the Amil district near the Al-Hadi Mosque, Baghdad.
