Turkish shelling ignites fires in Duhok

Shafaq News / Witnesses in Duhok governorate reported on Monday that Turkish aircrafts bombed the vicinity of a village north of the governorate.
They told Shafaq News agency, "Turkish aircrafts bombarded yesterday night, the vicinity of Mazi village, east of Amidiyah district, north of Duhok governorate", adding, "the bombing ignited massive fires in large agricultural areas".
It is noteworthy that, in mid-June 2020, Turkey launched a military operation to pursue PKK fighters and headquarters in the areas northern Kurdistan region.
