A fairy tale from Al-Sulaymaniyah..A spoon that gives its owner a miraculous memory
Shafaq News/ Some people have an unusual passion for things that are related to their lives, and they cannot forget or disassociate them, whether out of memory, or by the spiritual representations of those things, and their impact on the memory and soul of the person. Such things are inherent and difficult to part from, especially if it gives positive psychological energy, as well as extraordinary powers.
Rizkar Fattah –nicknamed “Rizkar Abu shawarib” which means Rizkar the moustache guy- was born in 1967 and is a resident in Tinal in Al-Sulaymaniyah. He has four daughters and two sons.. He has a wondrous story with a spoon that he confirms gives him a unique memory.
We try to learn about that spoon from Rizkar Fattah himself, who told Shafaq News agency about the secret of his beloved and distinctive property which he cannot part with, he says "This spoon is so precious to me, and since I was a child I got attached to it, merely by chance. One time I forgot it at home, I was a few kilometers away from the house and I almost got insane..I forgot my name and I forgot everyone around me".
"After they brought me home, and as soon as my eyes fell on my spoon, my condition returned to normal, and I knew that this spoon became a part of my life, and since then I have never parted from it”. Rizkar continued, "This spoon has been with me for 30 years and without it, I forget even my name, as I completely lose my memory, and with my spoon, my memory becomes stronger".
Rizkar said, "I memorize phone numbers and I have not saved any number in the contact list on my phone yet, and if someone calls me once, and then calls me again after five years, I know the number and the called person". Adding, “This spoon’s story spread, and I was asked to put it in the museum for 500,000 dinars per month, but I refused as I would feel lost without it. Since I have a restaurant, my spoon is always by my side", he said, adding, "I know to cook 30 types of international dishes, Iraqi, Iranian, Syrian, Turkish, Indian, and other dishes from many countries".
